We're excited to announce our 2025 Entrepreneurship Scholarship Contest, inviting high school seniors and college students majoring in business or studying entrepreneurship to share their innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial journey.

Contest Description:

Write a 500-word essay describing your entrepreneurial vision. Reflect on how a role model, personal experience, or a specific event has influenced your entrepreneurial aspirations. We want to hear about the individuals, stories, or experiences that have shaped your understanding of entrepreneurship and motivated you to pursue your goals.

Rules and Guidelines:

Eligibility: The scholarship contest is open to all current high school seniors and college students who will be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university in the fall of 2025. Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.

Essay Requirements:
Word count: 500 words (excluding title and contact information)
Format: Double-spaced, 12-point font, in PDF or Word document format
Language: English

Submission:
Email your essay to [email protected]
Subject line: "AFG Scholarship 2025 - [Your Full Name]"
Include in the body of the email: Full name, college/university name, major, expected graduation date, and contact information

Deadline: All submissions must be received by 11:59 PM EST on June 30, 2025.

Judging Criteria: The judging criteria, which are non-negotiable, will evaluate essays based on relevance to the topic, personal insight and reflection, clarity and coherence of writing, and originality and creativity.

Prize: The winner will receive a $500 scholarship to be applied towards tuition and educational expenses at an accredited college or university in the United States.

Notification: The winner will be notified via email by July 31, 2025, and announced on our website.

Usage Rights: By submitting an essay, you grant American Funding Group the right to publish your essay, in whole or in part, for promotional purposes.

Plagiarism: Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification. All content must be original and not generated by AI.

One entry per student: Multiple submissions from the same individual will be disqualified.
